How to unlock Motorola Droid 3 XT860 with an unlock code

Finally the Droid 3 is here! For anyone who has happened to get their hands on any of the Droid series phones, you know that it’s a solid phone in every single possible way. I had the opportunity to play around with the Droid 3 XT860 for a while from Bell Mobility and definitely had a ball playing around with its features. We were able to get down to testing the unlocks on the Droid 3 XT860, and we’re proud to announce that we are unlocking all Motorola Droid 3 XT860s now without any known problems at all. We were able to unlock Motorola Droid 3 XT860 from Bell Mobility and as you can see in the video above, we were able to successfully get a signal from our Rogers Wireless SIM card.

The actual unlocking process in removing the SIM lock from the Motorola Droid 3 XT860 is very straightforward, however, the process of generating the codes is a little more difficult than usual. The process typically take 1 hour – 3 business days to process the unlock code. Once you get your Motorola XT860 unlock code from our unlocking store, you can go ahead and follow these simple instructions or watch our video tutorial if it’s easier for you.

How to unlock Motorola Droid 3 XT860

1.) First you need to insert a SIM card that is not from the network carrier that the phone is originally from.
2.) Next, power on the phone and you will be asked to enter in the Network unlock code.
3.) When purchasing an unlock code from our store, you will receive this 8 or 16 digit code to enter in this step. Do not try to guess it as you may permanently lock your Motorola Droid 3 to the network carrier it’s originally from.
4.) After you’ve entered in the unlock code, press the “unlock” button.
5.) Almost instantly after, you’ll receive a message that says Network unlock successful!

At this point, your phone will redirect to the lock screen where, shortly after, you will see it connect to the network carrier that the SIM card is from. You can unlock it with an unactive SIM card, but if you have an active SIM card, you will see it connect immediately.
