The BlackBerry Pearl 3G in Canada is different from other BlackBerry Pearl models. Canada is a unique one the sense that they request a service provider unlock code instead of a network unlock code in order to SIM unlock your BlackBerry Pearl 9100. We have a tutorial video for this one to avoid any confusion on your end when you go to unlock BlackBerry Pearl 3G.

1.) Go to options
2.) Go to Advanced Options
3.) Go to SIM Card
4.) Dial MEPPD (As you can see in the video, you will not see anything appear here.)
5.) Dial MEPP4
6.) Enter in your BlackBerry Pearl 9100 unlock code
7.) Press enter and you will receive the “Code Accepted” message which should tell you that the phone is unlocked and ready to go!

That’s all there is to unlocking the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 smart phone!
