Although not well known, the HTC Desire HD with the model number as the A9192 is the World version of the AT&T HTC Inspire 4G. The phone holds very similar specifications with some slight differences. Our post last week on How to unlock HTC Inspire 4G describes quite well on how to unlock the HTC Desire HD or the HTC A9192. Below is a list of what you will need to unlock HTC Desire HD.

1.) An unaccepted SIM card. This is a SIM card that is not from the network carrier that your HTC Desire HD is from.
2.) A unique HTC Desire HD unlock code or an HTC A9192 unlock code

We’ve posted the video for how to unlock the HTC Inspire 4G, HTC Desire HD and the HTC A9192 above. Or you can follow our written instructions. Unlocking this phone shouldn’t be too difficult from our written instructions.

How to Unlock HTC Desire HD A9192

1.) Insert your unaccepted SIM card into your HTC Desire HD (A9192)
2.) As soon as the phone powers up, the phone will say that it is Network Locked.  You will have to slide the screen to enter in the unlock code.
3.) You will be asked to enter in the Network Unlock PIN.  Keep in mind that a PUK code is something completely different.
4.) Enter in your 8 Digit HTC unlock code which can be purchased from our Cellfservices unlocking store.
5.) Press unlock.

After everything is said and done, your phone will tell you that the network unlock was successful. You will have to press the OK button to reboot the phone. Once the phone boots back up, your unaccepted SIM card will now be accepted as well as over 800 SIM cards from different network carriers around the world!
