New Social Media and Blog Design

Today we are very glad to announce the launch of our Brand New Social Media and Blog Design!

New Social Media Design

Times are moving faster than ever before and so do the trends in design. When we started off in 2008, the common sense of “Modern Design” was completely different to what we expect to see nowadays when thinking of a leading Mobile Unlocking Provider like Cellfservices.com: Clean structures, plenty of free space, a few but focused objects and limited colors, all together building a Distinctive Corporate Identity.

The Plan

While not being sure yet about how to consolidate all our design plans and ideas, in February this year we set our goal to create a Brand New Social Media and Blog Design for Cellfservices.com meeting all the aforementioned essential design criteria of today – and have it finished before the summer starts! This plan was rather ambitious considering the excessively high workload caused by all other ongoing development projects for Cellfservices as well as the continuously increasing daily business tasks. Nevertheless we were very enthusiastic about this and pulled through! :-)

The Results

  1. CS Blog: New Blog Design Template & Logo Revamp
  2. CS Facebook Page: New Cover & Logo Revamp
  3. CS YouTube Channel: Full Revamp (incl. Header and Logo) with Switching to YouTube One Channel Design
  4. CS Twitter Page: New Cover, Background & Logo Revamp
  5. Other Social Profiles: Full Revamp of all Cellfservices Social Profiles including Tumblr, Pinterest & Blogger

1. Cellfservices Blog

Old Blog Design<— This was our Old Blog Design. The New Blog Design is what you are looking at right now while reading this article! :-)

Besides adjusting the overall Blog styling to the Main Website styling, we improved the Cross-Connection of all our Social Media Profiles with the Blog and embedded a direct YouTube Video Tutorial widget giving direct access to our latest Unlocking Video Tutorials.

All Unlock Store Categories and the Wholesale Area are now directly accessible through the Top Menu.

2. Cellfservices Facebook Page

New Cellfservices Facebook Design

The Revamp of our Facebook Page was not just limited to a New Cover and a Revamped Logo: Besides said style elements we also fully revamped the Descriptions in the About Us Section, re-arranged the Page Apps and added a YouTube App directly embedding our Unlocking Video Tutorials into Facebook.

To improve the Information Flow on our Facebook Page, we directly connected our Blog to it, so whenever there is an Update on the Blog, it will be automatically announced and linked on the Facebook Page as well.

3. Cellfservices YouTube Channel

New Cellfservices YouTube Design

The biggest change for our YouTube Channel was surely the switch from the old YouTube Channel Design to the new YouTube One Channel Design, giving up on background images and the familiar column-based layout. While this first seemed like a major challenge in terms of design and structural re-arrangement, it also turned out as a (long-awaited) occasion to finally re-build our whole Channel Design from scratch.

Our new YouTube Channel Design includes the brand new Main Banner, a Revamped Logo, Updated Descriptions in the About Section and of course a complete re-arrangement of our Unlocking Videos. By featuring our latest Unlocking Tutorial Video as Channel Intro and showing the Most Popular and Recent Uploads below, we are trying to meet all expectations of all our Fans, Subscribers and Customers.

4. Cellfservices Twitter Page

New Cellfservices Twitter Design

Our Twitter Profile got enhanced by a Brand New Background and Cover Image, both being adjusted to our general Corporate Identity and at the same time seamlessly integrating with the classic Twitter Profile Layout.

Since most of our Followers on Twitter are unlocking their devices for travel, we also included a Travel Checklist as a spot-on informative design element.

5. Other Social Profiles

Besides Revamping our Main Social Profiles mentioned above, we also took the chance to polish up all our other Social Profiles, including Tumblr, Pinterest and Blogger:

New Cellfservices Tumblr DesignCellfservices on Tumblr

Our Tumblr Blog was completely re-built from scratch and enhanced by a New Theme, Header Banner,  Color Set and Linking Structure equalizing the layout with our general Corporate Identity.

New Cellfservices Pinterest DesignCellfservices on Pinterest

On Pinterest we fully re-arranged our Topic Boards, updated the Logo and Profile Description, verified the Account Affiliation with Cellfservices.com and added a Two-Way Connection with our Twitter Account.

New Blogger DesignCellfservices on Blogger

In order to brush up our Blogger Profile, we gave it a Brand New Template offering various Style Views as well as the typical Gray-White-Orange coloring used on all Cellfservices Social Profiles.

So, how do you like it?

Even with the best intentions and preparations in the end only the audience (You!) decides about success or fail! So we’ll be very happy to get your feedback (Positive and Negative!) on our New Social Media and Blog Design. Help us to improve, leave a Comment! :-)
